Deborah Mercer is Pastor and Founder of True Vine Deliverance Temple and Sisterhood Ministries. She was born again at the age of 19 in a great revival hosted by Prayer Tower C.O.G.I.C. located in Joliet, Illinois, under the late Pastor Robert L. Dorris. She has ministered the Word of God for over 40 years. In the year of 2007, God called her to the office of Pastor.

Pastor Mercer is a native of Lockport, Illinois and is the eighth of fifteen children. She has traveled extensively as a solider in the U.S. Army and also as the wife of a solider. During her travels abroad and international, God has used her to minister to many in song, sermon, and counsel in diverse situations and circumstances. Saying “Yes Lord” has opened many doors for her to labor in innumerable congregations, crossing the racial and culture barriers to minister the Word of God. Pastor Mercer has taken the call of God upon her life seriously and believes in turning souls from hell's fire into the family of the Almighty God.  Pastor Mercer’s desire is for the Church is to train strong committed soldiers to be labors of God’s harvest. The vision for Sisterhood Ministries is to enable seasoned women to teach and reach out to lost women seeking a relationship with God the Father.

Pastor Mercer is the wife of one man (Raymond Mercer) and the mother of two young men, DeAndre’ and Maurice. She has worked in many facets of the church, both at the local and district level. She has held many positions in the church and feels that kingdom work and church work goes together and cannot be separated; and that both are equally important to the house hold of God.

God anointed Pastor Mercer to begin True Vine Deliverance Temple February 10th of 2008 in Clarksville TN. There they stayed 6 years until 2014 but God had bigger plans and moved the church to Henry Tn. There they purchased a Dollar Store an hour and 30 min from their home in Clarksville Tn. There Pastor Mercer, Bro. Mercer, 2 of her sisters, Darlene Griffin, Oressia Banks, their two sons and help from (very few) occasional volunteers renovated the 3200sq ft. building into the new home of True Vine Deliverance Temple.

The fruit of her labor echo's around the world through the many souls of which she has won for Christ. Pastor Mercer is no stranger to Street Ministry, Prison Ministry, Nursing Home Ministry, Clothing Ministry, nor visiting the sick and shut in.

Pastor Mercer continues to improve her service unto God by attending the W.L. Porter Training Institute with certificates of completion. She is currently attending Liberty University to attain her Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology, Specializing in Christian Counseling and Minor in Bible study.

As a Prayer Warrior her heart’s desires is to serve God in spirit and truth. Pastor Mercer is a blessing in the lives of everyone who has a desire to travel into other dimensions in God.
